Ian James Trophy

Ian James Trophy – Les Hill introduced this shield in memory of his son who died aged 4 months in 1979. He was born with heart problems and underwent open heart surgery. He overcame this and was a thriving little boy unfortunately at 4 months old he contracted meningitis which took his life. It was an open tournament played by all teams in the league. It was finally retired from competition at the conclusion of the season 2006-2007
