League Directives
Season 2008-2009
(DIRECTIVE 30) .. TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES

ENTERING THE FIELD OF PLAY
RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBER TEAMS

Member teams are held responsible for the actions of all their players, officials and their supporters, in each and every case.

NO persons may enter the field of play without expressed permission of the match referee at any time during the progress of the game.

Any such infringement of this directive will be deemed as misconduct and will result in a fine not exceeding £50.00, plus a league administration fee, being levied against the offending team.

The matter will also be referred to council who may reprimand teams, deduct points, reverse results or take any other action that it deems fit. Council may deem that such actions bring the league into disrepute.

This action can extend to suspensions of teams and expulsion of clubs if the matter is considered to be serious.

Teams should refer to directive 41 For further information about bringing the league into disrepute and directive 32 with regard to the removal (expulsion) of teams.
