This directive was adopted following unanimous approval by the member teams of the league. The purpose of the directive is to ensure that all teams are treated equally with regard to behavioural problems that may occur within the league structure.
19(a) YELLOW CARDS
When yellow cards are issued by referees, within the Solihull & District
Oakbourne League, and the same is indicated on the match forms, the league
will issue a fine to the team, in respect of the individual player, in accordance
with the table of charges being used by the Birmingham County Football Association.
As with other club fines, payment will be required within 14 days. However, should a report be made, by the referee, to Birmingham County FA, and a fine is issued to them, any fine that is issued by The Solihull & District Oakbourne League, in respect of the specific incident, will be revoked upon production of the notification of the fine received from Birmingham County FA.
Should a fine be paid to the league and subsequently a further fine is received from Birmingham County Football Association the team will be reimbursed by the league.
No Solihull and District Oakbourne League Administration Charges will be added to these particular type of league fines.
Teams must note that no appeal
can be made against yellow cards issued unless there
is a case of mistaken identity. Teams should be aware that they must supply
the name of the player, in this instance, that should have been named as cautioned
to fulfil the requirement of any mistaken identity appeal.
19(b) RED
CARDS
When red cards are issued by referees, within the Solihull & District
Oakbourne League, and the same is indicated on the match forms, the league
will issue a fine to the team, in respect of the individual player, together
with the appropriate ban, this to be in accordance with the table of charges,
and table of disciplinary actions, being used by the Birmingham County Football
Association.
Unlike other club fines, payment will be required within 21 days (due to any
appeal possibilities) As with the procedures shown in 19(a) the league will
revoke any fine and ban issued if the matter is summarily dealt with by Birmingham
County Football Association. And, if fines have already been paid to the league
they will be returned to the team. If a matter is not dealt with by the Birmingham
County Football Association and a team wishes to appeal the fine, and ban,
they may do so by following the laid down procedure for the Solihull and Oakbourne
District League
