Within the Solihull and District Oakbourne League, promotion and relegation of teams at the conclusion of a season, or in preparation for a new season, will be made in accordance with Rule 12B of the League Handbook.

However, the ruling League Council reserve the right to shape the divisions in the best interest of the participating clubs.

Should a team make any representations to the league, either not wishing to take up promotion or wishing to be relegated, for whatever reasons, the League Council will consider the request.

If the League Council consider that any specific team has been incorrectly placed in any division, they will have the power to promote or relegate such a team without the team actually being in a promotion or relegation position if it is felt to be beneficial to the team concerned and the membership of the league in general.
